Nell here! This is moreso a CDJ than an actual journal because I'm awful a keeping journals. I'm currently in two games which may be pimped here occasionally. If I commented on your icons then that's where they'll be! If I forgot to say where they're going and you'd like to know, give me a poke and tell me who I grabbed and I'll link you to my usage!

To make life easier, here are at least two things I filled out involving my RPing so give you guys a peek. Of course, by you guys I mean the awesome icon makers + a few friends that came over here as well!

Themes for which you would be willing to play for: Well, Ender's Game, Anime/manga, fantasy, generic sci-fi, and mutant/super hero games. I can do canon and OCs. I'm a fairly open person so just ask and I quite possibly will go for it. The only thing Nell does not do is celeb RP because I just... Yeah, it's just not my thing. I also don't want Harry Potter solicitation, though I still love it and have most experience there.
Preferred settings: Livejournal (any journal site based works, really), AIM/AIM chat, I work off of a laptop so I'd really perfer NOT MOO or anything where I'd need to download a program.
Experience: I've been role playing in chats since '98-'99 off and on but nothing constant until 2001. 2001 was the Virtual Battle School message board which was based in the Ender's Game universe. I played there for about a year and came back occasionally for periods of time for the next few years. I also played in the Ask The Seishi chat (while that was still in existence) for a year or two and attempted the message board that replaced it. Lately (within the last few years), I've been writing in Harry Potter universe based games on Livejournal and Greatestjournal. I especially like Maurader era games, but have most experience in Trio era school based games. If anyone would like links to these games, then please ask. I don't want to bulk up this too much with unhelpful links since a couple of the games are friend locked. Oh, and I also have attempted a couple MUD and MOO type games. I tried Ansible MOO (Ender's Game) and Scattergood (Harry Potter) for very short times each. I never really got the hang of either and I only interacted with people I knew from outside of the game. My most recent endeavor has been superhero/mutant based games. I have a set of three characters/muses that I play around with in various universes and so far they seem to be the best in these areas.

Summerby (Unity RPG [this is an active game and an active character]): This is Yukihito Summerby. He is sweet, charming, the best friend you'll ever have, but a bit dumb and very whipped. I only play him in this game, but this is my basic male incarnation. I play my boys sweet, funny, a touch crazy, usually Quidditch players, and hugely flirtatious. This journal houses me longest running boy of this nature. A prime example of his personality can be found in this thread where he attempts to deal with a girl playing hard to get and not quite getting it right and this journal entry about the discovery of giant turkeys on Hogwarts grounds during a sort of containment period.


Veronica "Ronnie" Augustine (Wayward Heroes [An inactive game, but it had an interesting premise]): A meeting with her protege, Cassie Munro. Ronnie and Cassie are doctors, with Ronnie leaning more towards genetics. They are both mutants working for a not so nice organization. Veronica can touch a person and immediately tell feel their pain, injury, illness, or what have you. Also, she can absorb poisons and illness from a person's system and give them to others. She can be good or bad, but tends to question things privately or amongst close friends. Ronnie originated in an X Man universe and is Bobby Drake/Iceman's older sister. Within that universe, she retains some connections to Xavier's school and especially with Hank McCoy/Beast.


Grant Page (Unity RPG [again! This one's an active character as well.]): Grant Page is a name taken from the Quidditch Cup Video Game, so it's game!canon, but very few places use that. Of course, that's not terribly important. Grant is smart and loves to investigate strange situations. He's nice to everyone, very respectful when respect is due, and incredibly awkward around mean women unless he's a bit tipsy and pushed to aggravation, which can be difficult. He will be the first to step up and ask questions in any given situation and is the one that will push to find the answers. Page is a muse/character I use elsewhere as Oliver Chamber, a mutant that has natural armor and can manipulate his own bones (a la Marrow and to some degree Spike) and Caleb Reese a born werewolf. Oliver is a mutant/superhero. He's kind hearted, intelligent and enjoys reading, usually found working in the main public library to pay his way through school. Caleb has a a huge family and a dead older brother who instilled in him knack for getting into trouble and helping others.

Any other info: I play anything, seriously. I have written both male and female characters. I accept slash, fem slash, yaoi, yuri, whatever floats your boat. I have written femslash and can do it if it's right for the character. I want to write and have fun with interesting characters and friendly people. I want something that actually moves but people won't kill me for not posting every day. I'm so glad I have PPM friended so I could remember to update this baby! Another note, yes two samples are characters in play! This is because I primarily write male characters recently and I wanted to show some sort of variety in my males. Summerby and Page are not up for entering other games, but similar characters certainly are!
